Polar Lights presents this beautiful snap model kit. it comes with more than 35 highly detailed parts. an excellent model for fans of the original series.
The construction process is pretty straight forward, even though this is a snap together kit I would recommend that you glue all parts, but make sure that all parts fit properly before using any glue. Paint all small parts first with a base coat of primer, then assemble.

Here is what the complete model should look like, some people prefer to hang their models and if you choose too you might want to pick up some finishing puddy and cover the holes in the bottom. I'd Also like to point out the slight gap around the body of the model and where the wing sections join the body, this should also be cleaned up before painting
